About this journey
Starting in Luxor gives you an extra night on the river and a more relaxed rhythm. You explore the great temples and tombs of ancient Thebes, then sail south through the Esna lock to Edfu, Kom Ombo and finally Aswan, the most beautiful city on the Nile.
All meals on board are included and a private Egyptologist accompanies every excursion.

- Day 1
Luxor: embarkation & East Bank
Board your ship and have lunch. Visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Dinner and overnight on board.
- Day 2
Luxor West Bank & sailing
Visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Esna and pass through the lock. Overnight on board.
- Day 3
Edfu & Kom Ombo
Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, then sail to Kom Ombo for its double temple at sunset. Overnight on board.
- Day 4
Aswan
Visit the High Dam and Philae Temple, then enjoy a felucca sail around the islands. Overnight on board in Aswan.
- Day 5
Disembarkation
Breakfast, check-out and transfer to Aswan airport, station or hotel.

- We meet you at Luxor airport, train station or hotel and take you to your ship.
- Cancellation
- Cancel up to 10 days before your trip and your deposit is refunded in full. Within 10 days the deposit is non-refundable, because your guide, vehicle and tickets are already booked and paid — but you can move your date once for free (up to 48 hours before) and keep your deposit as credit. If we have to cancel, you get a full refund.
- Prices are per person sharing a double or twin cabin.
- The sailing schedule can change slightly depending on river traffic.
