About this journey

If you have one week, this is the trip. It combines the monuments of Cairo and Giza with the most rewarding way to see Upper Egypt: a Nile cruise between Aswan and Luxor.

You stay in a Pyramid-view boutique hotel in Giza, fly to Aswan to board a 5-star ship with full board, and fly back to Cairo from Luxor. Every excursion is private with a licensed Egyptologist, and every transfer is arranged — you simply enjoy Egypt.

Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
Meet & assist at the airport and transfer to your Pyramid-view hotel in Giza.
Day 2
Pyramids, Sphinx & Grand Egyptian Museum
Private full-day tour with lunch.
Day 3
Saqqara, Memphis & Old Cairo
Saqqara and Memphis in the morning; the Citadel and Khan El Khalili in the afternoon.
Day 4
Fly to Aswan – embark the Nile cruise
Morning flight to Aswan. Board your ship, visit the High Dam and Philae Temple, and sail on a felucca at sunset.
Day 5
Kom Ombo & Edfu
Sail north visiting the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu.
Day 6
Luxor East Bank
Arrive in Luxor and visit Karnak and Luxor Temple. Optional sunrise hot air balloon the next morning.
Day 7
Luxor West Bank – fly to Cairo
Disembark and visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Evening flight back to Cairo.

Start time: Arrival in Cairo (any time)
Pickup & meeting: Our representative meets you at Cairo International Airport (or your hotel) with a Tourzana sign.
Cancellation: Cancel up to 10 days before your trip and your deposit is refunded in full. Within 10 days the deposit is non-refundable, because your guide, vehicle and tickets are already booked and paid — but you can move your date once for free (up to 48 hours before) and keep your deposit as credit. If we have to cancel, you get a full refund.

Prices are per person sharing a double room/cabin; the 1-traveler price includes the single supplement.
Domestic flight times are confirmed after booking.
Peak dates (Christmas, New Year, Easter) may carry a supplement — we always confirm before you pay.

     Verified The Best Tour Guides in Cairo
10/10 experience from the beginning to end . Our day started with Mo and S picking us up from our hotel . Mo was the designated driver, his driving ability made us feel very safe driving through a hectic driving scene of Cairo. S was our tour guide who spoke both English and Arabic. They made sure we got breakfast before we started our long day. The plan for the day was to the visit the pyramids , camel ride , ATV ride and dinner . I was surprised from how much I learned on this day trip , S our tour guide is very knowledgeable with Egyptian history and taught us about the evolution of the pyramids and how Cairo formed into it what it is today . When we arrived to the pyramids S made sure we all gained entrance to the pyramids and protected us from getting scammed . After entering the pyramids he took us to our camel ride destination. We all had our own camel and paid the appropriate price . Following our camel ride we made our way to our ATV excursion. That experience was one of the best experiences ever. Following our very active day we made our way to a chicken shawarma place recommended by Mo and S . 10/10 experience all around . The tour guide duo made our day truly special and I recommend them to everyone visiting Cairo .
